The Overseer is a Zarek long range attack craft equipped with the versatile Vector Cannon and the massive Flux Beam.

Summary[ | ]

The Overseer is a long range attacker, largely depending on accuracy to eliminate enemies. It's primary and only weapon is the Flux Beam, a mining beam capable of firing across and entire sector (much like the Watchman) and dealing incredible amounts of destruction to ships. The Flux Beam is mounted inside the actual ship, so players must use Auto-Orientate to move the entire ship in order to line up the beam. The massive potential damage comes at a cost, with the Overseer being very vulnerable to close range attacks due to its low turn speed and lack of secondary armament, using its Reverse Boost and Shield Wall Buoy to avoid damage.
